Occasionally I will change things around, just so I can stay in practice.
I have always been interested in technology and mechanical devices. When I was a kid, I would create and build my own bicycles at least once a month. I never really got into auto mechanics, however, I do like to drive.

Started with tubes and big TV's, moved into audio electronics, got a big taste of Telecommunications with intercom systems, nurse call systems and some of the first hybrid analog/digital telephone systems.

Always looking for a better way, I moved into corporate headquarters to help direct developers in meeting and exceeding the needs and wants of customers. I found my niche. I get to help people, stay abreast of technology, and make things better.
Update --  FLASH  ---- Update --- FLASH

Well, a lot of things have changed since I started this site.

In 2001 I had an idea for a startup technology company developing and designing internet firewall devices for the homes utilizing DSL and Cable Modem for always on internet connections. It was a great idea for the times, but I couldn't find the right people to  help me build a business case for investment firms and joint venture capitalists to get started. Believe me, I tried.

I then became a consultant in program and project management with CISCO Systems as my client. Did very well for myself and my family, and then the attack on the Trade Center and the Pentagon. As we all know, every corporation in America withdrew all contracts and figured out how to utilize their employees better. Good thing I was frugal with my income from being a consultant.

After a year of pounding the pavement and the internet to get a job, and continually being told I was over-qualified for every and any position I applied for, I went back to school to change professions. Hard to believe I am overqualified to be a CEO, VP or Director and flip burgers. I suspect my age has something to do with it.

Next phase of my life and career number 5. I went to school to learn to become a Machinist. A 50 hour workweek at an hourly rate and punch a time clock. Hardest part of that profession, besides punching a time clock, the ego's and arrogance of the machine operators, programmers, plant managers, and sales force. In all of my years in corporate politics I never came across so much back stabbing and finger pointing in my life. Sorry, I guess my mechanical abilities and many years of problem solving and leading projects and programs to design, develop and release new technologies and products didn't help me fit into that profession very well. In 3 months I was producing and programming the CNC Lathes and Mills as well as most that had been doing it for 10 to 20 years. Think that had anything to do with me getting laid off after 5 years and a divorce? Oops, slipped that one in didn't I. I worked swing shift 3pm to 2am M-F and the wife and I lost touch and grew apart.

Life is full of unexpected opportunities and challenges.

Back on the job search highway. Thought I had a career locked up with a fast growing software company as a Support Readiness Program Manager. My third career again. Interviewed as high as the VP of Operations and Engineering before I was told ------- You are Over Qualified for what we are looking for. This is after being out of the profession for 6 years. Go Figure. Three months into the job searching and getting the same !@#%#$^%^&, even from the machine shops, I decided to look into finding a Home Base Business, a Virtual Franchise for lack of better terms.

I found a company that has the same principals in life that I have. Everything is done with Honesty and Integrity. I am now a part of one of the biggest teams of entrepreneurs and business people in the World. It is a multi-million dollar company and is one of the world's largest producers of indoor air and water quality equipment for both residential and commercial use. I am in business for myself, providing air and water solutions to indoor pollution and cleaning the contaminants from our home water.

Check out the links below for more information on the products and the company.

Until we meet again.

Sincerely,
Ron Robinson
